HEALTH CANADA 2006 ADVISORY...

Greetings:

Ocean Plasma sells ocean water products manufactured in a state-of-the-art bottling facility that is regularly inspected by the province of Quebec.

Our isotonic and hypertonic solutions of Ocean Plasma are bottled with utmost care and following strict quality control standards using a double filtration process of 0.2 microns and supplementary ozone purification. All production batches are tested by an approved lab prior to release for sale to the public. Our products do not fall under the control or inspection of Health Canada.
 
Since the Spring of 2006, Health Canada has maintained an Internet advisory regarding a previous Ocean Plasma product batch that was voluntarily withdrawn from the Canadian market at that time. This lot never harmed anyone. Product lots that have been sold since then are not subject to such Health Canada notice. We strongly object to this totally irrevelant and out-of-date advisory.
 

Ocean Plasma enjoys the trust and support of consumers in the United States, Canada, Australia, Holland and many other places. Customer feedback attests to the fine standard of quality and effectiveness of our Ocean Plasma products.

Océan Plasma vend des produits à base d'eau de mer manufacturés à partir d'installations modernes qui sont inspectées régulièrement par les services du gouvernement de la province de Quebec. Les formules isotoniques et hypertoniques Océan Plasma sont purifiées avec le plus grand soin en utilisant un système de double filtration permettant d'enlever tous les micro-organismes possibles. Ce système de filtrage est de l'ordre de 1.0 et 0.2 microns et la solution résultante est ensuite traitée avec de l'ozone. Chaque lot que nous produisons est testé par un laboratoire indépendant et seulement mis en bouteille après avoir passé des standards très stricts. Nos produits ne tombent pas sous le contrôle ou l'inspection de Santé Canada.

Santé Canada a maintenu un avertissement sur l'internet concernant un ancien lot de produits d'Ocean Plasma qui a été volontairement retiré du marché canadien au printemps de 2006. Ce lot n'a en aucune façon endommagé quiconque. Les lots suivants, et vendus depuis, ne sont pas sujets à l'avertissement de Santé Canada. Nous objectons fortement à cet avertissement car il est maintenant périmé et sans fondement.

Océan Plasma jouit du support de ses clients aux États Unis, au Canada, en Australie, et en Hollande parmi d'autres, où nous avons établi un excellent critère de qualité de nos priduits.

Are there bacteria in bottled water?

Bacteria are found in most bottled waters sold for drinking purposes. Bottled water is usually disinfected to remove harmful organisms, but is not intended to sterilize the water. Usually, sterile water is reserved for pharmaceuticals.

Many studies have shown that the levels of bacteria increase quickly to maximum levels after six weeks of unrefrigerated shelf life. However, since disinfection (ultra-violet light, or ozonation) destroys the harmful organisms, this natural regrowth of harmless flora of the water is not considered to be a health hazard. Refrigeration is recommended after the water container is opened in case harmful bacteria are reintroduced at this time.
